Plasmon's 8000 Series AutoLoaders are 3rd generation products and the result of Plasmon's continued commitment to 12-Inch TrueWORM Technology. They incorporate Plasmon's new 30GB drives, which offer the highest performance of any optical devices.

The AutoLoaders are designed to support departmental or smaller applications that require permanent, unalterable storage of key data. As a result of their high performance and automated capabilities, they are also used to complement one or more of Plasmon's large 1800 Series libraries. In this scenario, the AutoLoader can act as a writing device, freeing the larger robot(s) to focus on retrieving and reading files.
